I made this recording by using a metal shovel and ramming it into the icy snow. The snow has been around for a couple months now and has been rained on and turned to tiny ice crystals. It sounds like it could be sand, grainy dirt or rock dust.

This field-recording was taken inside of a high-capacity wagon of the ic-train 2374 starting at the station darmstadt in direction of frankfurt. The wagon was rather empty, but two passengers can often be heard talking during this recording. Many different sounds and noises are heard during different driving situations of the train. The recording was started on 4th january 2023 at 10:23 cet shortly before the closing of the doors and the departure of the train in darmstadt. At 01:16 an announcement can be heard. The recording was made with the mid-prize smartphone huawei p10 lite.

An early spring bird-recording trip turned into a surprise, steady rain. (*actually, it should not have been a surprise, i just was too lazy to check the weather before i went out exploring nature!). This single crane bird (grus grus)calls for a partner. Its recorded in the middle of the summer in the middle of sweden. The bird stood aprox. 20 meters from the microphone on a fieldclose to a forest. Thats why it sounds like added reverb (echo). Use however you like. Free to use.
